Will writing

It is important to make a Will, to ensure  peace of mind for you and your family, and  that your financial  affairs will be managed and that your estate is in the hands of people you trust.  In many cases, a simple will is all that is required. Edward McCourt & Company LLP, can offer expert advice and services when it comes to the preparation and writing of your Will.

By making a Will you can decide to whom to leave your "Estate" (your financial assets ).  You are in control of decisions such as whom to appoint as Executors.  You can also appoint Guardians to look after any minor children you may have.

You can also give instructions on issues such as funeral wishes and what should be done with your household goods and personal chattels and any pets that you have, concerning their care.  You can also make gifts to friends and family and to charities if you wish.

We will:-

  • Take your instructions
  • Prepare a draft will based on your instructions
  • Take in any amendments
  • Prepare and bind the final will
  • Advise as to the clauses of your will
  • Witness the final will

Home visits are available by appointment at an extra cost.
